Prabha's work gained recognition early in her career when she boldly approached the Air India office in 1956 with a series of small-sized watercolors, leading to the purchase of six paintings by the airline. This encounter not only marked the beginning of her professional success but also introduced her to her first customer, the renowned nuclear physicist Homi Jehangir Bhabha. Over the years, Prabha held more than 50 exhibitions in India and abroad, with her works becoming part of significant collections, including the Citi India Corporate Collection.
